The format of the event:

Delegates will arrive around midday for 45 minutes of drinks and networking. A 3-course lunch with wine will be served at around 12.45, delegates will be seated at tables of 8. The speaker will be introduced after lunch and a short Q&A session will follow. Further networking opportunities after lunch over coffee.

About Sir David Michels
 

Sir David has spent 50 years in the hotel and gaming industries, living and working all over the world.

In 1991 he became CEO of Stakis Plc, a British company in hotels, casinos and healthcare. The company was technically bankrupt when he joined, sold 9 years later for £1.2 billion.  Sir David became group CEO of Ladbrokes/Hilton Group Plc in 1999 operating some 500 hotels and 2000 betting shops, the hotel part of which was sold for £4 billion in 2006 and Ladbrokes floated separately.
