Role:
GB Auto is seeking to fill a non-executive position on its main board and is seeking someone that has a solid understanding of the global automotive industry and that also possesses strong analyst and research capabilities. This would be beneficial to the company not only in terms of benchmarking but also in contributing to and challenging the different strategic ideas at the board level and through that giving guidance the company as it travels through a high growth phase both in terms of product representations and geographic spread.
Description:
Regarding time commitment, this is on average a day per month spent bouncing ideas or sharing information with the company largely on the markets and in the area of business development. In addition there are three key board meetings that are attended in Egypt which usually requires the day of the meeting and a day beforehand grasping the material and preparing for the meeting.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a senior automotive background including current and past experience in investment banking, consultancy, research and business development.
