Role: Non Exec Chair
Nigel creates and executes plans for restructuring, turnarounds, alliances and exits that maximise shareholder value. He is Founder of VentureGrowth Associates and an experienced Non Executive Director. Recent successes include being Non Executive Chairman of Saber Analytics (financial forecasting software) and Non Executive Chairman of SHE Software (health & safety software). He is also a Trustee for the Woodlarks Trust and a business mentor for the Prince’s Trust
Previously he has been Non Executive Chair of InTouch with Health (patient information systems) and Non Executive Chairman of Dhaliwal Brown (research in wireless comms) and Chairman of NavaraSoft (mobile middleware).
For fourteen years he was in a variety of development and strategic planning roles with BT and Cellnet. These included creating and directing international consortia to gain mobile telecoms licences in The Netherlands and Switzerland. He was a Board Director of Airtel (Spain’s second mobile operator) and a Board Director of VoiceCom Systems in San Francisco (the largest voice services company in the US).
Before BT, Nigel was a principle in the establishment of Seiko in the UK, becoming General Manager for EMEA.
